The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed and leading provider of property technology solutions, and we're looking for motivated, articulate, and customer-focused individuals to join their service center team as Technical Client Support Representatives in Houston, TX.

At the organization, technology is more than connectivity — it's how people experience where they live, work, and travel. For more than 45 years, they have helped hotels, resorts, multifamily communities, and master-planned properties deliver seamless digital experiences through innovative technology solutions and exceptional support.

No technical support background? No problem. If you have experience talking to customers — whether that's in a call center, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role — and you're eager to learn new technology, coachable, and ready to build a long-term career, we want to hear from you.

    What You'll Do

As a Technical Client Support Representative, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for customers needing technical assistance. You'll be trained on the tools and troubleshooting steps you need — your job is to bring great communication, patience, and a genuine desire to help.

This is a full-time non-exempt position providing technical support to internal and external customers.

    In this role, you will:

    • Deliver exceptional support via phone, email, and web-based channels
    • Take ownership of customer issues from first contact through resolution
    • Learn to troubleshoot hardware, software, streaming, and connectivity issues (full training provided)
    • Apply active listening and critical thinking to help identify effective solutions
    • Guide customers through solutions with patience and professionalism
    • Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately within ticketing systems
    • Keep customers informed with timely updates on ticket status
    • Escalate issues appropriately when needed, with support from experienced teammates
    • Collaborate with your team to keep growing your technical skills and service quality
    • Help create positive customer experiences, even in high-pressure situations

What Makes You a Great Fit

This role is ideal for people who are new to technical support but bring strong communication skills and a track record of showing up, working hard, and caring about the customer. We'll teach you the technical side — what matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of customer-facing experience (call center, retail, hospitality, food service, or similar)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Comfortable learning new technology and systems in a fast-changing environment
    • Basic computer proficiency (navigating multiple applications/systems at once)
    • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team
    • Professional, positive, and customer-focused mindset
    • Genuine interest in growing a long-term career in technology support
    • Prior exposure to technical support or troubleshooting is a plus, but not required
    • Familiarity with media and entertainment technology (commercial TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, cable/satellite systems) is a bonus, not a requirement

    Schedule and Attendance Expectations

    • Strong attendance and punctuality are essential in this 24/7 call center role
    • Employees are expected to remain available and complete scheduled shifts
    • Holiday, weekend, weather-related, and rotating shifts may be required
    • Overtime may be required based on business needs

    What You Can Expect

In this role, employees are supported through a workplace culture centered on training, professional growth, collaboration, and overall well-being — a great launchpad into a tech career.

    Perks & Benefits Include:

    • Competitive hourly pay
    • Opportunity for additional pay increases (up to $2/hour after 90 days based on performance)
    • Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Short & Long-Term Disability
    • 401(k) with employer match
    • Paid time off + 9 company-paid holidays
    • Flexible shift opportunities including weekday and weekend schedules
    • Stocked breakroom with snacks and beverages
    • Discounted gym memberships through health providers
    • Structured training and career growth opportunities within a stable and innovative technology company

We're looking for dependable team members who take pride in being reliable, responsive, and ready to learn — no technical support experience necessary.

Build Your Career with a Company That's Connecting the Future

In this role, you're not just answering support calls — you're launching a career in technology while helping deliver the experiences people rely on every day. If you're a hard worker with great people skills and you're ready to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
