    Description

    CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Client Specialist - AMD Technology position for our client. Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension Duties: Conduct detailed technical presentations and demonstrations of PC devices and solutions powered by AMD technology for end-user customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders. Serve as a trusted technical advisor for AMD technology and solutions across North America. Collaborate closely with technical sales, field sales, services, and technical advisory teams to support customer engagements and sales opportunities. Support customer pursuits, opportunity identification, solution development, and technical requirements for AMD-powered PC solutions. Work with services teams to identify solutions that accelerate AMD technology adoption and address customer business and technical challenges. Collaborate with AMD field sales and field application engineering teams on customer engagements, solutions, and RFP responses. Develop and deliver technical training on new AMD-based solutions to sales teams, inside sales personnel, and technical client advisors. Identify and lead industry-specific technical workshops and customer application rationalization workshops and assessments. Stay current on PC industry trends, applications, deployment strategies, security, connectivity, and emerging technologies. Provide technical guidance and solution recommendations that help differentiate AMD technology and address customer requirements. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of the PC industry, including applications, deployment, security, and connectivity. Excellent presentation, demonstration, and technical communication skills. Strong technical sales and solution-selling capabilities. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business and customer-focused recommendations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent collaboration skills with sales, engineering, services, and technical teams. Ability to identify customer needs and develop effective technology solutions. Strong workshop facilitation and training skills. Knowledge of AMD processor and PC technologies. Experience with Snapdragon technology is highly desirable. Experience: Proven experience in a technical sales, technical client specialist, solutions consultant, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role. Experience supporting enterprise customers, channel partners, and sales organizations. Experience conducting product presentations, technical demonstrations, workshops, and customer assessments. Experience supporting technical sales pursuits, RFPs, and solution development. Experience working with PC hardware, applications, deployment, security, and connectivity solutions. Experience collaborating with technology manufacturers, field sales organizations, and technical engineering teams is preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and professional experience may be considered. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
