Description

Kforce is working with a client searching for a Technical Business Systems Analyst to join their growing team in Saint Louis, MO. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between technology and business operations while leveraging data, reporting, and system integrations to drive better decision-making and process improvements. In this role, you'll collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to support reporting initiatives, enhance applications, improve data quality, and develop solutions that increase operational efficiency. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
  • Create, modify, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extracts
  • Partner with development teams to support application enhancements and system improvements
  • Analyze and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Develop scripts and automated processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
  • Support system integrations, data mapping, and API connectivity initiatives
  • Troubleshoot reporting, application, and data-related issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Participate in solution design, testing, implementation, and deployment activities
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation efforts
  • Maintain technical documentation, process flows, and reporting specifications
  • Support Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, business intelligence, application support, reporting, or related technical roles
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Strong SQL development and relational database experience
  • Experience working alongside software development teams in a collaborative environment
  • Working knowledge of Python or another scripting/programming language
  • Understanding of APIs, ETL processes, data integration, and data transformation concepts
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data and analytics services
  • Experience building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Familiarity with cloud-based workflow or forms platforms
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Experience supporting operational, business, or financial reporting environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
