     Business Analyst –Tax Reporting & Regulatory Change

    Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support regulatory tax reporting and business transformation initiatives. The role involves working with business and technology stakeholders to analyze processes, define business requirements, and deliver solutions that improve compliance, operational efficiency, and reporting capabilities.

     

    Key Focus
    • Support regulatory tax reporting and tax reclaim initiatives.
    • Enhance operational processes and reporting capabilities.
    • Improve compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business and technology change.

     

    General Experience Required
    • Proven experience in business analysis, including process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, and impact analysis.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business processes and recommend effective solutions.
    • Experience supporting user acceptance testing, implementation, and business readiness activities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

     

    Specific Experience Required
    • Experience with tax reporting, withholding tax, tax reclaim, or related regulatory reporting processes.
    • Knowledge of global tax regulations, tax transparency initiatives, or financial reporting requirements.
    • Understanding of custody services, corporate actions, dividends, and post-trade operations.
    • Experience working with Tax, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology stakeholders.
    • Exposure to regulatory change or business transformation initiatives within financial services is preferred.
