    Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking for a talented technical business analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work with a wide variety of high-profile brands across a mix of projects.

    The perfect candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a brilliant ability to find simple solutions to complicated business and technical challenges. They should be well-versed in industry-standard business analysis techniques and processes, backed by a portfolio showcasing a broad range of analytical ideas supported by data to prove their effectiveness.

    They will collaborate with clients and internal users, conducting research to gather and analyse requirements, and organise and prioritise requirements to align with business objectives. They will need to be comfortable creating detailed requirement specifications and liaising with software developers while managing change requests.

    The role will also see them assisting the testing team and developing customer-facing product information, including website content and communication materials.

    Essential skills and experience:

    • Proven experience as a business analyst in the software sector or as a technical business analyst
    • Strong understanding of IT and industry SDLC best practices
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Analytical mindset
    • Ability to translate complex business rules to software requirements
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Good technical understanding of development approaches
    • Experience with different strategic analysis techniques, modelling techniques and notations
    • Understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools
    • Proficiency in requirements management tools

    Desirable skills and experience:

    • Professional certifications such as ISEB, BCS, or IIBA
    • Understanding of principles of system integration via APIs
    • Ability to read web development code
    • Familiarity with BI tools
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
