We are seeking a motivated and analytical Entry-Level Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in working at the intersection of business requirements, technology, data, and software development.
The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to understand business needs, document requirements, analyze data, and support technology projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, problems, and technology needs.
Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flows.
Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for development teams.
Assist with SQL queries and data analysis to validate business requirements and identify data issues.
Work with developers and QA teams during application development and testing.
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Track requirements, tasks, defects, and project activities using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Assist with API requirements, system integrations, and data mapping.
Perform basic gap analysis and impact analysis for proposed system changes.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help document test scenarios and results.
Analyze business and technical issues and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare reports, dashboards, documentation, and presentations as required.
Support project managers and senior business analysts with project documentation and coordination.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools.
Basic understanding of APIs, web applications, system integrations, and data flows.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
