Must Have:
Test Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
*** is undertaking a large project to implement Secure Collaboration tools using MS GCCH to enable modern, compliant collaboration for users who need to work across regulated and non-regulated collaboration environments. The program requires structured validation across applications, identities, endpoints, collaboration experiences, support processes, and pilot user journeys before broader deployment decisions are made.
The Secure Collaboration Test Coordinator coordinates the execution of testing activities based on frameworks, scenarios, and success criteria established by program leadership. This role is not accountable for defining the overall testing methodology or institutionalizing the reusable Corporate IT framework. It is the execution coordinator that turns approved frameworks into scheduled, tracked, evidence-based testing activity.
As the Secure Collaboration Test Coordinator, You Will
Develop and maintain integrated test execution plans, calendars, tester rosters, persona coverage, scenario assignments, evidence expectations, and completion milestones.
Coordinate Phase 2 application validation, including login/navigation checks, identity-dependent functionality, workflow routing, notifications, file/resource dependencies, and application owner feedback.
Coordinate Phase 3 persona and journey validation across GCCH Native, Commercial Native, Dual-Tenant, Administrative, Knowledge, Technical, Front Line, People leader, Executive/VIP, Support, and cross-tenant interaction personas.
Onboard pilot participants, schedule testing sessions or office hours, manage tester communications, track participation, and coordinate substitutions when coverage gaps arise.
Ensure test evidence is captured consistently, including pass/fail status, observations, difficulty/confusion indicators, screenshots or supporting evidence, workarounds, and communication/training needs.
Maintain a consolidated findings log and coordinate triage of defects, remediation actions, support process gaps, adoption risks, communication/training items, and accepted constraints.
Prepare weekly or cadence-based dashboards showing completion status, persona coverage, application coverage, blockers, open findings, go-live risks, and readiness recommendations.
As a stretch goal, identify application validation scenarios that may be reusable for DR testing, platform changes, future migrations, or operational health checks, and maintain a catalog of candidate reusable validation assets.
Scope Boundaries
This role owns
Testing calendars, test execution tracking, tester follow-up, evidence completeness, findings administration, readiness reporting, and test coordination meetings.
Operational communication with testers and managers regarding testing activities and completion expectations.
Identification and cataloging of reusable validation opportunities that emerge from application validation.
This role does not own
Final architecture decisions, tenant design decisions, or Secure Collaboration methodology ownership.
OCM strategy, communications strategy, training content ownership, or enterprise framework institutionalization.
Application remediation, platform engineering, IAM configuration, endpoint engineering, service desk process ownership, or hands-on automation development unless separately assigned.
To Qualify for This Role, Here Is What We Would Expect You to Bring
Required experience and capabilities
Experience coordinating UAT, pilot testing, application testing, business readiness, or similar cross-functional validation activities.
Ability to take an approved framework or test plan and turn it into executable assignments, schedules, tracking tools, and status reporting.
Strong organizational discipline and follow-up skills across many testers, scenarios, applications, open items, and stakeholders.
Strong facilitation skills for test check-ins, office hours, issue triage meetings, status reviews, and tester onboarding.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical participants and translate issues into actionable next steps.
Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word to manage execution artifacts and reporting.
Ability to distinguish between defects, configuration remediation, support process gaps, communication needs, training needs, adoption risks, and accepted constraints.
Clear written communication skills and ability to produce concise status updates for project leaderhip.
Preferred experience and capabilities
Experience with Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, collaboration, tenant migration, or regulated collaboration projects.
Experience coordinating testing for applications, workflows, integrations, or business processes.
Experience with defect tracking, readiness dashboards, UAT tools, project trackers, or structured issue logs.
Experience working with OCM, UX, Service Desk, application owners, infrastructure teams, or cybersecurity/compliance stakeholders.
Familiarity with DR testing, operational readiness testing, or reusable validation asset development; basic awareness of automation concepts is helpful but not required.
Success Measures
Application validation and persona/journey validation are planned, assigned, executed, and tracked against agreed milestones.
Tester participation, coverage gaps, blocked scenarios, and readiness risks are visible early enough to correct.
Findings are captured consistently and routed to clear owners for defect resolution, remediation, support process improvement, communication, training, or acceptance.
Program coordinatorership receives concise, evidence-based readiness reporting that supports deployment decisions.
Testing evidence is complete enough to support stakeholder confidence, post-pilot lessons learned, and future reuse.
Reusable application validation scenarios are identified and cataloged for potential DR testing and future project use.
Candidate Profile
The strongest candidate is likely to come from a UAT coordinator, business analyst, PMO analyst, project coordinator, application testing coordinator, change management coordinator, service readiness coordinator, or technology project coordinator
