Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Architect for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and governing scalable enterprise data architectures, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-quality data integration across diverse business systems.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement scalable end-to-end data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI.

• Build and manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data pipelines to support enterprise business applications and analytics needs.

• Establish and enforce data governance, security, access controls, and compliance standards across the data ecosystem.

• Develop data quality, validation, and reconciliation frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration of data from NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise systems.

• Optimize platform performance, reliability, and availability while supporting high-volume data processing and business-critical operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, including 4-5 years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform architecture experience.

• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, and Power BI.

• Proven expertise in architecting and governing structured and unstructured data pipelines, data security frameworks, and Lakehouse-based data solutions.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
