Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Architect in New York, NY. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead integration discovery and assessment, documenting inbound/outbound interfaces, data flows, endpoints, protocols, authentication, service accounts, schedules, and upstream/downstream dependencies
  • Define the integration migration strategy and target-state architecture, including interfaces to retain, reconfigure, repoint, rebuild, replace, or decommission
  • Lead integration build and configuration, including APIs, middleware, SFTP/file transfers, endpoints, certificates, credentials, service accounts, firewall/network connectivity, and scheduled jobs
  • Manage integration dependencies across R&D/Engineering applications, such as Teamcenter, Autodesk Vault, Accolade, EcoSys, SiliconExpert, SAP/ERP, and other enterprise platforms
  • Coordinate and support SIT/UAT and end-to-end interface testing, validating connectivity, authentication, data transmission, transformation, error handling, and downstream processing
  • Lead integration defect analysis and resolution, performing root-cause analysis across applications, middleware, network, security, databases, and interfaces
  • Own integration cutover and go-live readiness, including interface sequencing, endpoint transitions, credential/certificate changes, production validation, rollback planning, and command-center support
  • Provide hyper care and stabilization support, monitoring critical integrations, resolving production failures, implementing approved fixes, and transitioning support to steady-state teams
  • Maintain comprehensive integration documentation and governance, including interface inventories, architecture/data-flow diagrams, dependency matrices, test evidence, cutover runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience in enterprise integration architecture, integration engineering, middleware, API development, or application integration
  • Demonstrated experience leading integration workstreams for large-scale application migrations, separations, carve-outs, divestitures, or transformation programs
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, messaging, ETL, and file-based integrations
  • Experience working with JSON, XML, CSV, flat files, and other enterprise data formats
  • Experience with SFTP and enterprise managed-file-transfer solutions
  • Experience troubleshooting complex integrations across applications, middleware, network, security, and database layers
  • Experience supporting SIT, end-to-end testing, production cutover, and hyper care
  • Experience coordinating multiple application and technical teams
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture and integration design patterns
  • Strong understanding of API authentication, certificates, service accounts, and secure connectivity
  • Strong understanding of error handling, logging, monitoring, retry, and recovery mechanisms
  • Strong technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
