Job Title: Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will possess strong Solution Architecture knowledge and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions that meet business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, high performance solutions that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Lead architectural discussions and provide guidance on best practices for solution design and implementation.
- Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions and implementations.
- Document architectural designs, processes, and standards for future reference.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solution architecture practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven expertise in Solution Architecture with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- In depth knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data architecture and database design principles.
- Experience in enterprise integration patterns and API design.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Solution Architecture.
- Proven track record of leading architectural initiatives and delivering high quality solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
