Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing data solutions, specifically with a strong emphasis on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud data warehousing and will be responsible for leading architectural discussions, ensuring best practices, and driving the technical direction of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data architectures using Snowflake.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of data solutions.
Mentor and guide junior team members in technical aspects and best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data architecture and Snowflake.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security features.
Proven experience in cloud data architecture and data warehousing solutions.
Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
Experience with SQL and data querying languages.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Experience in Agile methodologies and project management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Snowflake.
Relevant certifications in Snowflake or cloud architecture are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
