" BA/BS or equivalent in life science discipline with 3 or more years related experience, MS degree or PhD degree in life science discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

The R&D Scientist II position is a hands-on bench position responsible for verification and validation studies on various clinical analyzers within the Applications Team in a laboratory environment to support the launch of new assay applications.

What will you do?
" Execute various studies using clinical chemistry analyzers
" Write, edit, and secure approval of protocols, reports, and technical documents
" Compile, analyze data, and interpret results
" Troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions

Education
" Minimum of Bachelor s degree in scientific discipline
Experience
" BA/BS or equivalent in life science discipline with 3 or more years related experience, MS degree or PhD degree in life science discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
" Demonstrated ability for technical proficiency
" Hands on experience operating automated clinical chemistry analyzers
" Strong verbal and written communication skills
" Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
" Good organization and multi-tasking skills
" Computer skills such as Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications
" Knowledge of FDA/ISO design control and regulatory requirements related to IVD products
" Familiarity with CLSI procedures
