Apparel Sourcing SpecialistOur client is seeking an experienced Apparel Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing operations across multiple apparel brands. This position will play a critical role in finished goods sourcing, vendor management, new product development support, cost negotiations, supplier performance management, and sample coordination.The ideal candidate will bring strong sourcing expertise, supplier relationship management skills, and a collaborative approach to working with Design, Merchandising, Planning, Quality, Regulatory, and Logistics teams. Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships. Ensure suppliers meet quality, compliance, delivery, and performance expectations. Support supplier selection and sourcing strategy initiatives.New Product Development Support: Serve as the sourcing lead for new product development projects. Partner with Product Development teams throughout the product lifecycle. Provide sourcing recommendations regarding factory capabilities, material availability, and lead times. Support commercialization and production handoff activities.Cost Management & Negotiation: Lead vendor cost negotiations to achieve target costs. Analyze vendor quotations and line costing details. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Support landed cost and FOB cost analysis.Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance metrics and scorecards. Track on-time delivery, quality performance, and production capacity. Identify performance risks and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier challenges.Sample Coordination: Manage sample development timelines and approvals. Coordinate sample reviews across internal teams. Monitor sampling milestones to ensure seasonal calendar adherence. Maintain accurate sourcing and sample records.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Design, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Regulatory teams. Support sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
