Ignite Digital is seeking a skilled Technical Analyst II to support a U.S. Navy Software Maintenance Program in the Norfolk, VA region. This role plays a key part in helping Navy stakeholders maintain, modernize, and optimize critical software systems across the fleet. We are looking for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in mission‑focused environments and enjoys tackling complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development and refinement of technical specifications, system processes, workflows, and documentation.
  • Conduct process analysis and design activities to identify gaps, improve efficiency, and enhance system performance.
  • Apply analytical and logical problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot issues and provide technical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Navy program personnel, engineering teams, logistics specialists, and software maintainers to ensure technical requirements are well‑defined and accurately represented.
  • Assist in evaluating software maintenance approaches, interface requirements, human‑system interactions, and system usability considerations.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Physical Sciences
  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Psychology (Psychology degrees are acceptable only if coursework includes Human Systems Interface (HSI) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE).)

Required Experience:

  • Currently possess a DoW SECRET Security clearance
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in:
  • Technical specifications development
    • Process analysis and design
    • Technical problem solving
    • Analytical/logical thinking
  • Experience supporting DoW C4ISR, maintenance, logistics, or business systems is strongly desired.
  • Other relevant industry experience supporting complex technical solutions may be considered with COR approval.

 

 

Salary: $70k+ to align with experience and education
