Technical Analyst
Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Summary:
Seeking a Technical Analyst to support technology media reviews through product testing, benchmarking, competitive analysis, technical documentation, demonstrations, and troubleshooting. Must be able to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and test products for technology media reviews, including competitor comparisons.
- Execute industry-standard benchmarks using accurate, repeatable testing methodologies.
- Develop/maintain test procedures, document results, analyze metrics, and prepare technical write-ups.
- Create Reviewer Guides, speaking points, demo scripts, and product background materials.
- Demonstrate products, software, and solutions to industry media in-person and remotely.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to media analysts and technology press.
- Research competitor products and compare published reviews with internal lab results.
- Work with product/engineering teams to resolve technical issues and maintain testing equipment.
- Support technical evangelism and participate in internal product briefings.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of Android, Linux, Windows, Chrome, and client hardware/software systems.
- Experience with technical product testing, benchmarking, or technology reviews.
- Knowledge of network file protocols.
- Experience using AI tools.
- Strong technical documentation, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technology to non-technical audiences.
- Strong customer-service and organizational skills.
