Position Responsibilities:

Innovate, deploy, optimize and maintain automation systems, including building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS) within data centers. Develop new processes and standards while innovating in the controls space. Ensure data center controls are deployed in accordance with scope of work (SOW) and specifications. Review and provide feedback on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings. Develop controls bill of material (BOM). Financially manage construction and service contracts. Provide vendor management. Develop scope of work for site improvement projects. Provide technical assistance and support to internal customers during lifecycle of the data center. Perform controls root cause analysis for service of controls for AWS data centers. Schedule and supervise quarterly maintenance for BMS and EPMS. Review controls sequence of operation and provide feedback to design. Participate in a global on-call schedule. Develop building automation controls drawings and wiring diagrams. Size controls valves and damper actuators and select controls devices. Develop and modify control logic programming. Develop and modify graphical user interface.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a bachelor's degree and five years of experience. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience with industrial controls in a critical environment (data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water, or related industrial control space). Must have four years of experience in the following skill(s): (2) general project or vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI and submittal tracking) associated with construction and project execution.
