We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation. This role is crucial for enhancing our platform capabilities and ensuring seamless deployment and management of applications in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support application deployment and scaling.
Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the Kubernetes environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in Kubernetes and associated services.
Implement best practices for security, scalability, and reliability in cloud infrastructure.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, and security.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, container orchestration).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
