Job Title: Developer Platform/Product
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable platforms and products. This role requires a deep understanding of container orchestration and cloud native technologies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services on Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Implement best practices for container orchestration, deployment, and management.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing and containerization.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and container orchestration.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Apache Mesos).
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on platform/product development.
- Proven experience working with Google Kubernetes Engine and cloud native technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
