Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter implementations and solution architecture.
  • Deep understanding of PLM business processes and product lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in:

o Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)

o Product Structure & BOM Management

o Document & Content Management

o Workflow Design

o Configuration Management

o Classification & Parts Management

  • Experience conducting workshops and translating business requirements into

functional solutions.

  • Knowledge of Teamcenter modules such as Active Workspace, Structure Manager, Workflow

Designer, BMIDE, and Reporting.

  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing consulting skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and global delivery environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Teamcenter integrations involving SAP, Oracle ERP, CAD systems

(NX, Creo, CATIA), MES, or SCM platforms.

  • Exposure to Teamcenter upgrades, cloud migration, and data migration initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), or

Digital Thread initiatives.

  • Familiarity with AI/GenAI use cases in PLM and Engineering domains.
  • Teamcenter or Siemens PLM certifications

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business architecture and solution design for Teamcenter PLM implementations

and transformations.

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and

future-state requirements.

  • Define end-to-end PLM processes covering Product Development, Change Management,

Document Management, BOM Management, Configuration Management, and

Program Management.

  • Conduct business process workshops, fit-gap analysis, and requirement elicitation sessions.
  • Drive functional solution design and collaborate with technical architects and

development teams.

  • Define Teamcenter data models, object structures, workflows, access control strategies,

and governance frameworks.

  • Support migration, integration, and digital thread initiatives involving ERP, CAD, MES,

and other enterprise systems.

  • Provide strategic guida nce on Teamcenter best practices, roadmap, and adoption.
  • Create functional specifications, architecture documents, process flows, and user stories.
  • Support testing, user acceptance, training, and deployment activities.
  • Mentor functional consultants and lead customer-facing discussions.
