Security Events Team Member Job Description Wage: $14-16/hour Shift: Part time. Mon-Sat, AM and PM shifts available at 6-8 hours each. Average of 25 hours per week. Responsibilities: - Help events set up, clean up, parking, pedestrian control, and traffic flow control for some of our bidggest events such as Luminaria, Cornbelly's, Tulip Festival, and Imaginaria.
- Maintain the Security Department’s parking and other equipment.
- Help guests have a safe experience while at Thanksgiving Point.
- Assist and support other department team members in the mission of transformative family learning at Thanksgiving Point.
- Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values, and Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Requirements: - Ability to follow oral and written instructions, and work under the chain of command.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Physical ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours without relief, bend, push, pull, manipulate small objects, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Professional, polite and patient at all times.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
- A positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor.
- A healthy work ethic.
- Pass a background check.
- At least 18 years old.
