We are looking for motivated team members to join our team! You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by working closely with the Restaurant Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures. This position operates under the direction of the General Manager, Assistant Managers, and Shift Coordinators.
As a team member, you will be flexible and ready to wear many hats, from opening, prepping, and cooking to closing shifts. You pay special attention to details, care about performing quality work, and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to learn all areas of the restaurant operations and work multiple stations
- Front of the house focused duties
- Open cash registers to accept payments
- Answer the phone
- Take to-go orders when necessary
- Responsible for always maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including dining room, restroom & exterior
- Transfer and store supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
- Back of the house focused duties
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking food quality
- Season and cook food according to recipes
- Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized
- Wash pots, pans, and trays and polish silver
- Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
- Transfer and store supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred
- ServeSafe of Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
- Friendly and customer-focused personality
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 30 Ibs or more
- Able to work standing for 8+ hours
