Team Manager

The student manager helps ensure that practices, games, and team operations run smoothly. The role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Managers work under the direct supervision of the head coach and athletic department.

Key Responsibilities

• Practice Support: Preparing practice equipment, setting up drills, and assisting coaches and players with logistical needs. This includes setting up and breaking down, assisting players during warm-ups, and managing hydration stations.
• Game-Day Operations: Manage the team bench area, handle towels and water carts, track substitutions. Assist coaching staff with data collection and analysis during practices and games, including recording statistics.
• Equipment and Laundry: Maintain team gear, distribute uniforms, and process laundry for home and away games.
• Video: Filming practices and games.
• Travel Coordination: Assist with packing equipment bags and managing basic travel logistics for away games.
• Perform other such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
• Must have federal work study
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and patient with visitors
• Office experience a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Must be willing to work weekends and have a flexible schedule

Exact schedule to be determined with supervisor; no more than 20 hours per week when school is in session and no more than 35 hours per week during breaks.
