    Summary Of Responsibility:

    The Warehouse Team Leader provides day-to-day leadership and coordination of warehouse operations while actively working alongside team members to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials throughout the facility. This role is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy, production material flow, shipping and receiving, and employee development while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Team Lead - Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and support daily warehouse operations by coordinating workloads, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring efficient material flow to support production requirements.
    • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates by providing direction, training, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and engagement.
    • Manage inventory accuracy and control through proper receiving, storage, picking, staging, cycle counting, FIFO compliance, and timely transaction processing within SAP/WMS systems.
    • Ensure uninterrupted production support by coordinating material replenishment, responding to shortages and urgent requests, and maintaining accurate inventory availability.
    • Promote a safe and organized work environment by enforcing OSHA and company safety standards, supporting 5S initiatives, conducting safety observations, and ensuring proper equipment use.
    • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by identifying inventory discrepancies, supporting root-cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
    • Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or inventory operations.
    • Basic computer skills; SAP or Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
    • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed.
