Our Team:

The Global Securitized Products Data Team is responsible for researching and supporting a $12 trillion global securitized products market. The Americas ABS Securitized Products Team is responsible for creating and maintaining a large library of cash-flow models and data. The team manages the end-to-end workflows supporting the US ABS sector, including new issuance and bond data, cash-flow modeling, collateral performance data, periodic cash-flow reconciliation, and client support.

What's the Role?

As a Team Leader, you will lead, empower, and develop a high-performing team of cash-flow modelers and financial data professionals responsible for delivering high-quality data and analytics across the US ABS market. You will combine people leadership with hands-on involvement in workflow execution, cash-flow modeling, client support, and the continued development of our securitized products data offerings.

You will demonstrate strong market and product knowledge across US ABS, using your expertise to guide the team, solve complex data, modeling, and workflow challenges, and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial data and cash-flow models. You will establish and maintain consistent data management standards and best practices while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to modernize and scale our workflows. You will champion automation, operational efficiency, and innovative approaches that improve the quality, timeliness, and scalability of our data products while enabling the team to focus on the highest-value work.

You will partner closely with Sales, Market Specialists, Product, Engineering, and global counterparts to understand client and market needs, shape product and data priorities, and identify opportunities to strengthen our offerings and create new business opportunities.

We'll trust you to:

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of US ABS and securitized products experts, driving excellence in time-sensitive, high-quality data processing, financial analysis, cash-flow modeling, project management, and client support
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and other partners to support client and market needs and develop and improve Bloomberg's securitized products data, cash-flow models, workflow tooling, and operational scalability
  • Strengthen our US ABS data coverage by identifying gaps and uncovering opportunities to enhance our offerings
  • Identify and champion opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, emerging technologies, and scalable solutions

You'll need to have:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cash-flow modelers and financial data professionals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of securitized products, with experience in ABS and structured finance markets
  • Ability to shape and drive the broader securitized products data strategy, translating market, client, and business needs into a clear vision and actionable goals for the team while delivering outstanding service to internal and external clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business needs, advocate on behalf of your team, and collaborate effectively across functions
  • Proven ability to establish credibility and build influential relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a creative and flexible approach to solving complex data, modeling, and workflow challenges
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, complex projects, and time-sensitive deliverables
  • Track record of developing and executing strategies, leading sophisticated projects, and successfully influencing or managing operational and organizational change
  • Working knowledge of technologies and tools such as Python, Unix, GitHub, and data visualization tools
  • Ability to identify and leverage technology, automation, and emerging tools to improve data quality, workflow scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development

We'd love to see:

  • Deep knowledge of US ABS markets, securitized products data, and cash-flow modeling
  • Expert-level knowledge of data processing paradigms and associated tools and technologies
  • Experience developing relationships with issuers, trustees, and other securitized products market participants
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA and/or CFA designation

Salary Range = 135,000 - 230,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
