    Position Summary: The Team Lead in Diagnostic Ultrasound-Radiology is responsible for coordinating daily operations that includes planning, organizing, staffing, directing and monitoring operations of assigned section. This position works in collaboration with the Radiology Ultrasound manager to achieve strategic and operational objectives of Adena Health Radiology. The position ensures compliance with all regulatory/accreditation standards and upholds departmental and Adena Health System policies. Position has direct patient care responsibilities and access to confidential employee, patient, financial and organizational information and funds appropriated to Radiology services.

    Minimum Qualifications Required

    Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Major/Area of Concentration: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Preferred Education: Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: RDMS-Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. BLS - Basic Life Support. De-escalation training within 6 months. Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Required Experience: 3-5 years experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound Preferred Experience: Supervisory experience in area of concentration

    Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy Job Specific Essential Functions

    Provide input into strategic and dept planning to enhance operational efficiencies and monitor operations to meet productivity and profitability

    Oversees and monitors Trophon HLD program and quality control testing/outcomes

    Demonstrate effective communication through routine attendance of dept huddles, dept rounding and resolution of incident reports when appropriate

    Coordination of new caregiver orientation in dept, annual skills validations/training for existing staff and quarterly image QA checks for all sonography staff

    Fulfill duties as clinical coordinator of sonography students rotating through dept

    Formulate staff schedules in Kronos and work with manager to address staffing gaps

    Communication and education of protocol development and protocol changes to all Sonography staff

    Acts as liaison for equipment maintenance and repair scheduling

    Perform essential functions of the job

    Oversee/delegate supply ordering
