Teaching Professor, Division Chair of Pediatrics
Xavier University's proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine (XUCOM) invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure-track Chair of the Division of Pediatrics beginning Summer 2026. This is a senior academic leadership opportunity for an experienced physician-educator who is passionate about shaping the next generation of osteopathic physicians.
This senior academic leadership role provides the opportunity to shape the Pediatrics division within a mission-driven osteopathic medical school at a Jesuit Catholic university. The Chair will lead curricular integration across preclinical and clinical phases, serve as Clinical Clerkship Director for third-year Pediatrics rotations, mentor faculty and students, and ensure divisional excellence in accreditation, assessment, and strategic planning.
This is a 0.8 FTE academic appointment with Xavier University. The successful candidate is expected to maintain clinical privileges and provide patient care approximately one day per week within a partner health system.
