Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and energetic Infants, Toddlers, and Twos Teachers (Lead and Asst Leads) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for creating a nurturing, developmentally rich environment rooted in Christian values. As a teacher at Pointe Academy, you will play a vital role in shaping children’s earliest experiences of learning, faith, and community — all through the power of play.  

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans that are fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate 
  • Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Monitor and assess student progress to support individualized learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents about daily routines, developmental milestones, and classroom updates
  • Support diapering, potty training, and responsive caregiving routines
  • Design and maintain a consistent daily and weekly classroom schedule
  • Provide basic care and nurturing support throughout the day
  • Evaluate children’s growth to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
  • Maintain open, respectful communication with families and colleagues
Qualifications & Experience:
  • CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred (we will train the right candidate)
  • 1-2 years previous experience with infants, toddlers, or twos in a childcare or educational setting required
  • Understanding of child development and classroom management strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to Christian faith and values is required
  • Familiarity with ProCare is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of sign language is a plus
  • First aid/CPR certified
