Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, reliable, and experienced Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for leading a classroom, supporting early learning, and creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment where children can thrive.


Our program offers a balanced blend of play and academic learning, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about helping young children grow socially, emotionally, and academically during these foundational years.


Responsibilities


  •  Create and implement a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum 
  •  Teach foundational early learning skills, including early literacy and math concepts 
  •  Support children in developing social, emotional, and self-help skills 
  •  Foster a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment 
  •  Use a variety of instructional methods and hands-on learning techniques 
  •  Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members 
  •  Observe, assess, and document student progress toward developmental milestones 
  •  Ensure a clean, safe, and well-managed classroom at all times 
Qualifications


  •  Meets State of Oregon childcare teacher requirements & current CBR enrollment 
  •  Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred) 
  •  Strong understanding of child development and classroom management best practices 
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  •  Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a childcare setting 
  •  Strong problem-solving, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
