The Teaching Assistant will work in the classroom to ensure consistency, organization, and happiness for each child. They will assist the Lead Teacher in preparation of classroom and other tasks as communicated. QualificationsExperience working with children preferred.Ability to maintain confidentiality for children & their families.High school or equivalent (Preferred)Ability to model quality behavior for children in accordance with school practicesAbility to effectively communicate with children and assist with their needsMust have Early Education Certificate  ResponsibilitiesAssist in maintaining a clean and hygienic classroom environment.Monitoring consumable classroom items and replacing as needed Assist in classroom maintenance.Assist children with the direction of the Lead Teacher during transition times such as outdoor preparation.Learning school procedure and implementing when appropriate.Monitoring children as needed during nap time, lunch time, playground use, etc. in accordance with school policyAssist the Lead Teacher in preparation of classroom materials as directed.Attendance of monthly staff meetings.Communicate with Lead Teacher and Director as needed regarding the children. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50lbs if needed.
