Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments
Assess students’ visual needs and develop individualized instructional strategies
Teach Braille, assistive technology, orientation/mobility, and visual efficiency skills
Adapt curriculum, classroom materials, and learning environments for accessibility
Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, and families
Support IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
Consult with school staff on accommodations and strategies for students with visual impairments
