Full-Time Teacher of Health and Physical Education

Location: Burlington County Alternative School

Position Summary

Burlington County Alternative School is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Health and Physical Education to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold the appropriate NJDOE certifications and possess the knowledge, skills, and compassion necessary to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Adaptive Physical Education and working with exceptional student populations.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Health and Physical Education Certification (required)
• NJDOE Special Education Certification (required)
• Knowledge and skills in Adaptive Physical Education (preferred)
• Understanding of and empathy for students with emotional and/or physical disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience working with exceptional students preferred
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Salary & Benefits

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $64,064 $82,487
