Teacher of the Moderate Cognitively Impaired (MoCI)

LOCATION:

Clare-Gladwin Area School; 4041 E. Mannsiding Rd, Clare, MI

ASSIGNMENT:

Classroom for Moderately Cognitively Impaired (Ages 17-22)

REPORTS TO:

Area School Principal

WORK SCHEDULE:

Full-time; Five (5) days per week

SALARY:

According to the Terms of the Master Agreement for AFT Michigan

STARTING DATE:

2026-2027 School Year

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To provide direct education services to students with disabilities focusing primarily on the planning and implementation of each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate with Endorsement as a Teacher of students with cognitive impairment as defined in Michigan Special Education code R340.1781, R340.1782 and R340.1786 .
