Description
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher, you will lead a class of parents through a successful school year, implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide parents with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!Bilingual a Must: Fluent in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Present parent education workshops
- Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
- Assign homework
- Take attendance
- Grade assignments and provide feedback
- Document students’ learning progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification
- Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in the following areas:
- ESL Teacher
- STEM Teacher
- Coding and Robotics Teacher
- Parent Project Teacher
- Mental Health Instructor
- PBIS Teacher
Compensation: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
