    • Must hold a Professional Teaching Certificate
    • Must meet all licensure and certification requirements and be hired as a full-time teacher in Logan County Schools.
    • Knowledgeable of curriculum and instruction
    • Evidence of ability to impact student achievement
    • A minimum of five years teaching experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Job Responsibilities and Duties
    • Supports the goals and mission of the district and school.
    • Serves as a mentor and resource for new and experienced teachers.
    • Serves as a model classroom for teacher visits.
    • Serves on the school leadership team.
    • Facilitates the scheduling and organization of professional development at the school level.
    • Assist administrators with the preparation of meeting agendas.
    • Collaborate with department chairs.
    • Attend county, state, and national trainings and conferences as relevant to the position.
    • Submit monthly documentation related to Teacher Leader duties.
    • Take the lead for your school in training and implementing districtwide initiatives, including data analysis, professional development, sharing screening/diagnostic reports, and providing teachers with suggested skills, activities, and sample items.
    • Assist the administration in grouping and scheduling targeted instruction during class or extended time, and work to g roup and schedule high at-risk students for intensive instruction.
    • Assist in organizing and analyzing school and district data (WVGSA, i-Ready, etc.).
    • Collaborate with the school curriculum t eam to share information and data with subcommittees in order to make informed instructional decisions.
    • Model high-yield instructional strategies for instructional staff.
    • Mentor and support new teachers and/or long-term substitute teachers in the areas of classroom management, high-yield instructional strategies, data collection, and instructional planning.
    • Spend at minimum of 10 hours outside of your regular school day completing teacher leader responsibilities.
