Position: Teacher - Treatment Day School (TDS) Ozanam Campus
Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
Job Type: Full Time (will work a school calendar year and off on holidays, spring breaks, and summers with an additional 72 hours of PTO)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Teacher position provides direct instruction to students requiring special education in a therapeutic educational milieu.  This position is responsible for developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that meet state requirements.  Responsible for participating in IEP meetings as requested.  The Teacher is responsible for providing individualized direct instruction and collecting systematic student progress data.  This position works with therapy staff to meet both academic and affective goals.  The Teacher is responsible for maintaining a trauma-informed classroom environment that is conducive to learning. This position is for the  2023-2024 academic year.

QUALIFICATIONS: Teacher I will require a Bachelor’s degree. Teacher II will require a Master’s degree. All applicants must be eligible for or hold Missouri certification in special education.  One (1) to three (3) years of experience is required. Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.  This position also requires a valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
