QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree or higher from a recognized accredited college or university.
• Eligible for a valid Texas teacher certificate appropriate for teaching assignment.
• General knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations.
• A minimum of four (4) years of coaching experience in a formal educational setting preferred.
• Experience as a coach in more than one sport preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership in working with diverse students, staff, families, and communities.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Probationary Term Contract (187 days).

SALARY

• Pay Grade T60.
• Teacher Classification as approved by the Board of Trustees.
• Additional athletic stipend as approved.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
