Introduction:


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to infants in our childcare center. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.


Responsibilities:


  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants

  • Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions

  • Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


  • Must have a GED/High School Diploma or College degree

  • Must be able to pass a National BCI and CANTS 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

    Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities for infant

    Have the ability to complete 24 hours of training a year
