    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for capturing and refining business or system requirements that may involve a software change. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyzing problems, capturing requirements, creating solutions, solving problems either manually or through software, and providing subject-matter expertise on products to support scope and requirement decisions. Job expectations include collaborating with project stakeholders to analyze and confirm requirements, creating, analyzing, and improving processes and writing user and technical stories.

    Demonstrates an understanding of customer’s tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions. Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques. Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan. Establishes basic scope control procedures. Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation. Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback. Analyzes and reports project status and research information; monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content.

    Responsibilities:

    • Understands stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem

    • Supports cost and benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy

    • Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests

    • Identifies the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assists with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design

    • Assists users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting, and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs

    • Documents processes, procedures and workflows for technology as needed

    Required Skills:

    • 7+ years’ experience in business analysis including systems analysis, Data Analysis & troubleshooting.

    • Proficient in SQL for data analysis related activities.

    • Strong appreciation of how software is designed and developed, tested and released end to end (SDLC).

    • Subject matter expertise in Markets, Investment and Trade Surveillance and Compliance with strong project management experience.

    • Domain knowledge in GBAM and Investment banking domains.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills required to work with senior business and technology executives in GBAM and Investment Banking.

    • Extensive background in SQL development enabling support for extremely complex SQL queries that can process large amounts of data in very short processing windows.

    • Ability to handle and resolve very critical regulator inquires within very aggressive timeframes.

    • Ability to support a very large number of global data feeds/data sets from broker/dealers.

    • Agile/ Scrum exp. a must.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience working with data analysis, reporting, and workflow automation initiatives.

    • Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and drive consensus across multiple teams.

    • Experience supporting AI, digital transformation, or enterprise technology modernization projects.

    • CBAP, PMP, Agile, or similar certification preferred.

    • Experience working with distributed teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or data integration concepts is a plus.

    Pay and benefits information

    Pay range

    $89,000.00 - $151,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

    Discretionary incentive eligible

    This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
