Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing tax processes within the finance function, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and supporting strategic tax planning initiatives. The position contributes to accurate tax reporting, risk mitigation, and the identification of opportunities for tax efficiency, directly impacting the organization's financial health and regulatory standing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Apply advanced proficiency in direct and indirect tax laws using SAP and Oracle Finance modules to prepare, review, and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

2. Analyze financial data and transactions using Excel and tax analytics tools to identify tax risks, recommend corrective actions, and support audit readiness.

3. Implement tax planning strategies by leveraging knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing regulations, optimizing tax positions for cross-border operations.

4. Interpret and apply changes in tax legislation using tax research platforms to update internal policies and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance.

5. Collaborate with internal finance teams to reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies using ERP systems, supporting accurate financial reporting.
