Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ

Overview

A top-ranked accounting, tax and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor in Woodcliff Lake to manage tax engagements for middle-market commercial businesses across a variety of industries, working closely with managers and partners. In office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage tax engagements for individuals, S corporations, partnerships and LLCs
• Review federal, state and local returns for accuracy, completeness and timely filing
• Assist with tax planning, consulting and research projects
• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact
• Supervise, mentor and train tax associates and senior associates
• Coordinate with audit and advisory teams on integrated client solutions
• Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MST a plus
• Active CPA, EA or progress toward certification preferred
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience with middle-market business clients
• Strong individual, corporate, partnership and multistate tax expertise; real estate and HNW experience a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office and tax software (e.g., CCH, Caseware)
• Ability to work in the office at least 3 days per week
