About the Opportunity:
Our client, a well-established regional accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their expanding team. This hybrid/remote role is ideal for seasoned accounting professionals with strong interpersonal, supervisory, and organizational skills who thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
- Provide technical advice and develop comprehensive solutions based on in-depth research and analysis.
- Help clients assess and understand the tax implications of business operations and transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage and monitor task workflows, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily responsibilities of Staff and Tax Seniors.
- Communicate regularly with Partners regarding work status and client issues.
- Train, mentor, and supervise tax staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Manage and provide guidance to an off-shore accounting team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting and tax services.
- Strong technical, advisory, and client management expertise.
- EA or CPA designation (current, in progress, or willingness to obtain certification).
- Advanced preparation and review skills in one or more of the following industries: Construction, Real Estate, High Net Worth, Manufacturing & Distribution.
- Proficiency with tools like CCH Axcess and GFR is preferred.
