Responsibilities

• Prepare individual income tax returns (Form 1040) and assist with corporate and partnership tax returns.

• Support the preparation and review of C corporation and partnership tax filings.

• Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information and supporting documentation.

• Assist with tax research, tax planning, and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.

• Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and resolve routine tax questions.

• Maintain organized workpapers and ensure tax filings are accurate and completed within established deadlines.

• Collaborate with senior team members on client engagements and special projects.

• Stay current on tax regulations and develop a strong foundation in tax compliance and planning.

Qualifications

• 
  

• Approximately 2+ years of accounting experience, which may include public accounting, corporate accounting, or another relevant accounting role.

• A genuine interest in learning public accounting and developing a career in tax.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• CPA eligibility or an interest in pursuing the CPA credential is a plus.
