Overview

A growing Southeast accounting, tax and consulting firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its financial services practice. Raleigh, North Carolina is among the listed offices. The role consults on complex tax matters and oversees tax compliance for financial institutions and financial services companies.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex tax matters for financial services clients
• Oversee the tax compliance process for financial institutions and financial services companies
• Perform technical reviews of income tax accounting, ASC 740 computations and reporting
• Lead a team, advise, research and identify tax issues
• Drive business development and engagement management
• Train, motivate, develop and review the work of the tax team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or law; master's in tax preferred
• 7+ years of recent public accounting firm experience
• CPA required
• Strong experience with corporate tax accounting; ASC 740 preferred
• Financial services industry experience preferred
