Location: Dallas, TX 75202
Schedule: Fully onsite; 1st Shift, Monday-Friday (flexible start and end times)
Pay Rate: $24.86/hour (paid weekly)
Start Date: 12/07/2026, pending onboarding completion
Duration: 4-month contract with potential for extension and/or conversion to full-time employment

Overview
The role supports tax reporting activities for IRA clients and ensures compliance with federal and state reporting requirements. This role is responsible for reviewing client records, preparing tax-related documentation, and supporting regulatory reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Review client records and account information to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Prepare tax returns, schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Support local, state, and federal tax reporting requirements.
• Maintain and update tax records in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of data used in tax reporting activities.
• Research, investigate, and resolve tax-related discrepancies or reporting exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support operational objectives.
• Assist with process improvements and documentation updates as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Taxation, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in tax reporting, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting functions.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
• Familiarity with federal and state tax reporting requirements and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage competing deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while working under general supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting IRA or retirement account tax reporting.
• Knowledge of tax reporting regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience reviewing large datasets and performing data validation in Excel.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
