Part-Time Tax Preparer – New Mexico
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Tax Preparer to join our growing tax and accounting firm in New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individual, business, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
Review client financial information and tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax matters and document requests.
Assist with tax planning and research as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
Qualifications:
Previous tax preparation experience required.
Knowledge of federal and New Mexico tax laws.
Experience with professional tax software (Lacerte experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during tax season.
EA, CPA, or accounting background preferred but not required.
Position Details:
