Tax Operations Analyst - Jacksonville, FL

Position: Business Analyst (Tax Operations Analyst)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00am- 5:00pm EST
Contract Assignment: 10/26/2026- 12/31/2026 (Potential Ext to 4/27/2026 or Temp to Perm)

Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.

Pay Rate: $38.48 Paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform U.S. Information Reporting and Withholding (IRW) tax functions.
• Research and resolve tax operations issues and discrepancies.
• Respond to tax-related client inquiries and escalations, particularly within Prime Brokerage.
• Partner with internal teams and stakeholders across global locations to resolve complex issues.
• Support new processes, regulatory changes, and industry initiatives.
• Participate in ad hoc projects related to tax operations and process improvements.
• Compile and review operational metrics and Quality Assurance (QA) results.
• Maintain a strong focus on regulatory controls, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
• Follow established procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Experience in tax operations, financial services, brokerage operations, tax reporting, or tax withholding preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a regulated environment.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing inquiries, escalations, and multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• U.S. tax withholding and reporting
• Information Reporting & Withholding (IRW)
• Prime Brokerage or brokerage operations
• IRS reporting
• Forms 1099, W-8, or W-9
• FATCA
• Tax reconciliation
• Regulatory compliance
• Quality assurance and operational controls

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
