Overview

A respected tax, audit and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager for its fast-growing Phoenix office. You will serve a complex and sophisticated client group across industries, with direct access to partners and subject-matter experts and significant upward trajectory. Hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level review of federal and multi-state returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts and related workpapers
• Advise clients on income tax issues and planning and develop strong client relationships
• Meet engagement timelines and budgets and oversee planning and scheduling
• Supervise engagement teams and ensure high-quality work product
• Research technical and complex tax issues
• Manage, coach and train seniors and staff
• Participate in recruiting, training and firm initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with partnerships and/or high-net-worth individuals preferred
• Bachelor's degree; Master's in Taxation a plus
• Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent
• Proven project management skills and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in GoSystem, ProSystem or equivalent tax software required
