Tax Manager – Public Accounting

Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Salary: $110,000–$160,000 | Full-Time

A reputable and growing CPA firm in the Salt Lake City area is looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to its team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative firm that values client relationships, professional growth, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax preparation, compliance, and filing for a diverse client base.
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
• Review complex tax returns and research technical tax issues.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic tax guidance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
• Manage multiple engagements and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client service skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $110,000–$160,000, depending on experience.
