Position Overview:Gould Killian CPA Group, P.A. is seeking a tax manager with a history of excellent client service, communication, and technical proficiency. In addition to technical expertise, the Firm is seeking a manager with experience reviewing staff work and delegating work to staff members. Job Duties:Job Management: Take responsibility for assigned engagements, ensuring work performed by engagement staff meets Firm quality control standards, is performed timely and within budget.Communicate with partners fully informed about the progress of the assigned engagements and the performance of staffReview and take responsibility for all directed staff accountants' work, both in terms of accuracy and timeliness of completionBe able to review the work of others not only for clerical accuracy, but also to evaluate positions taken in the treatment of items and the implications to the clientStaff Training & Development:Train staff through both review notes and hands-on training, when needed.
