Location: Philadelphia, PA

Overview

A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager for its private client services practice, which serves family-owned and closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Hybrid work model, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise and develop associates and seniors
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and other entities
• Build relationships with clients and firm leadership
• Manage accurate time and billing for yourself and your team
• Learn each client business, complete assigned work and meet client deadlines
• Solicit new client relationships and take part in client seminars and networking
• Stay current on tax law, regulation and accounting standard changes and apply them to engagements
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to deliver efficient, effective service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or consulting experience in public accounting or a public/corporate mix
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent required
• Master's in taxation preferred
• GoSystem or CCH Axcess experience preferred
